last island post

Our last day was again incredibly beautiful.

This is the famous Niijima-Onsen. Yes, you can take a bath in that pseudo-greek-ruin and enjoy the view over the island, the sea and alle the other pretty islands. What you can see next to the little green tribune are cold water pools, where you can cool yourself down after using the Onsen on the top.
And the best: This Onsen is 24 hours open and also free of charge!
So you can also go there at night and watch the stars while you're bathing. (^▽^)

Niijima is also famous for it's green volcano glass. We even had a chance to watch how it's made, some Japanese girls were getting their own fists of glass (*≧▽≦) Very useful in dangerous situations.

Of course using chopsticks! What else...
BABAM!! It suddenly started burning.

Later we went to see the 'other side' of the island, which is only accessible through a tunnel. But the tunnel itself is only allowed for cars. There was one incident, where the tunnel broke down and the people of this side were isolated - a little bit scary... (/。\)

lonely playground
We didn't see many people there, actually I think we only saw about three people including two life guards, not more.

Where is my ninja off to again?!

Staying on the islands was a great experience and I'm very thankful for that! I would definetely go there again!
